Molly & Friends is a joyful, inclusive 24-page A4 colouring book where every child has a place to play, learn, communicate and belong.
Inspired by Molly, who has Down syndrome, her family, and the children Rhona has met through her inclusion work, the book celebrates friendship and difference in a natural, positive way.
Inside, children will meet Molly and friends who use wheelchairs, communication pictures, hearing aids, ear defenders, sensory supports and other tools that help them experience the world. Children with Down syndrome, autism and other additional needs are represented alongside their friends, simply playing, learning and belonging together.
The book also explores feelings, quiet time, calming spaces and different ways of communicating. The illustrations feature clear outlines and generous colouring spaces, with a small number of more detailed pages for children who enjoy an extra challenge.
